Egypt’s stocks end mixed on Wednesday, benchmark EGX 30 slightly up

Egypt’s stock exchange (EGX) ended in mixed notes on Wednesday, with the benchmark EGX 30 index slightly rising by 0.04 percent to 11,568 points.

EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) dipped by 0.06 percent to 1,985 points.

The all-embracing index, EGX 100 dropped by 0.06 percent to 2,992 points.

Market Cap   

The country’s market capitalisation has posted gains worth around 247 million Egyptian pounds ($15.7 million), ending the trading at 729.172 billion pounds.

Trading Aggregates            

Trading value has approximately reached around 705 million pounds, while the trading volume has almost recorded 281 million securities executed 29,000 transactions.
