Egypt’s Suez Canal revenues grow 9.9% y-o-y in January: official
Egypt’s revenues from the Suez Canal, excluding the navigation services, grew 9.9 percent year-on-year to $544.7 million in January, said the canal’s authority chairman Osama Rabie on Tuesday.
Earlier, revenues – excluding the navigation services – stood at $495.7 million in January 2021.
In January this year, the vital waterway witnessed the highest monthly level ever in terms of the revenues, tonnage, and the number of vessels passing by, Rabie added.
