Egypt’s UPA, Bristol Myers Squibb sign health development assessment MoU

The Egyptian Authority for Unified Procurement (UPA) and Bristol Myers Squibb have signed a MoU to enhance the performance and efficiency of health development assessment staff, during the first day of Africa Health ExCon.

The UPA signed another MoU with Boehringer Ingelheim and Roche, to improve healthcare services provided to cardiomyopathy patients in Egypt.

The UPA Chairman, Bahaa El Din Zeidan met with the Minister of Health of Argentina, Carla Vizzotti, on the margins of Africa Health ExCon.

The first day of Africa Health ExCon’s second edition also featured a panel discussion titled Africa’s New Public Health Order and Medical Countermeasures.

The panel included participants like; Khaled Abdel Ghafaar, the Minister of Health and Population, Adel Adawy, Chairman of the ExCon’s Scientific Committee, Olive Shisana, representative of the South African Presidency, and Maha El Rabbat, Public Health Professor at Cairo University.

Africa Health ExCon has participants from 90 countries and 1200 speakers, and it is Africa and Egypt’s gateway towards innovation and trade.
