Elon Musk heads to Israel in wartime visit

Tech entrepreneur and owner of Tesla and X, Elon Musk, landed in Tel Aviv on Monday, an aviation tracker revealed.

Musk is on his way to begin a visit in Israel to bring his attention to the “plight of hostages” held in Gaza and discuss “rising anti-semitism” online, Reuters reported.

According to Reuter, Musk is set to meet Israeli President Isaac Herzog as well as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Avi Scharf, aviation expert with Israel’s Haaretz, posted on X  that a plane carrying the billionaire had landed in Israel in the morning.

Netanyahu met Musk in California in September and urged him to protect free expression as well as fight hate speech and anti-semitism.

Musk then said he was against antisemitism and against anything that “promotes hate and conflict,”.

The entrepreneur, however, announced earlier this month that X would immediately suspend any account who uses the word “decolonisation” against Israel.

Israel is coloniser and an occupier according to International law. It is also committing a number of horrendous war crimes prohibited by international law.

These crimes include the usage of White Phosphorus, bombing schools, hospitals, and residential buildings.

In just 48 days, Israel killed around 20,000-25,000 innocent civilians and displaced 1.7 million.

This number surpasses that of the 1948 Nakba with 750,000 displaced and 15,000 killed.

75 years have passed, yet Palestinians are dealing with the same occupier, same injustice, and same vicious attacks.
