Emine Erdoğan remembers Gaza children on ‘darkest’ World Children’s Day

Turkish first lady Emine Erdoğan said on Monday this year marks the “darkest” World Children’s Day, when the Palestinian children are not sure if they will survive the Israeli attacks to see the day after.

Emine Erdoğan stated earlier on November 15 that Gaza has become a city of “unknown children”, a reference to the children who were killed in Israeli bombing raids who have nobody to identify their remains.

Fahrettin Altun, Тurkish politician, also wrote on X platform that this is not the world that children deserve, adding: “we reiterate our (Turkish) President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s call, this time for our children: A fairer world is possible.”
