Emirati Dragon Oil to increase oil production in Egypt by 27%

Emirati Dragon Oil is set to increase its oil production in Egypt by 27 percent to 70,000 barrels a day in October, a government official said on Wednesday.

Dragon Oil will start producing this number of barrels in two months from the North Safa field in the Gulf of Suez.

Dragon Oil is a Dubai-based company owned by Emirates National Oil Company Group (ENOC).
