ETF Discuss Activating Initiative Launched By CBE’s Governor

Egyptian Tourism Federation (ETF), led by Elhamy Elzayat, has welcomed the initiative launched by Hesham Ramez, CBE’s Governor, over supporting the tourism sector by banks.

Elzayat confirmed that the CBE’s Governor has rapidly responded to the ETF’s demand, after holding numerous joint meetings between the federation and officials in the bank along with Hesham Ramez; who called for supporting the tourism sector and providing all the possible facilities to the investors.

He added that the federation will hold sessions in the coming days with investors in tourism sector to discuss the mechanism of dealing with the initiative of CBE, by which the tourism sector can deaden burdens that it is suffering.

It is worth mentioning that the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) launched an initiative to support the tourism industry, included granting credit facilities to finance the hotels and the touristic ventures as well as travel agents, reservation, tours, tourism transport, restaurants, and entertainment activities in resorts.
