European markets briefing 02/06/2023

The European markets closed high on Friday with London’s main index, FTSE, rising by 1.56 percent to 7,607.28, gaining 117.01 points.

The German main index, DAX, inched up by 1.25 percent to 16,051.23 after it gained 197.57 points.

CAC 40, the French main index, soared by 1.87 percent and gained 133.26 points, to close at 7,270.69.
