European markets briefing 19/05/2023

The European markets close high on with London’s main index, FTSE, soaring by 0.19 percent to 7,756.87, gaining 14.57 points.

The German DAX rose by 0.69 percent and gained 112.02 points to close at 16,275.38.

CAC 40, the French main index, inched up by 0.61 percent to reach a value of 7,491.96 after it gained 45.07 points.
