European markets briefing 23/05/2023

The European markets closed low on Tuesday with the German main index, DAX, going  down by 0.44 percent to 16152.86 points.

The French main index, CAC 40, inched down by 1.33 percent to reach a value of 7378.71 points.

British FTSE dropped as well by a percentage of 0.10 percent to close at 7762.95.
