Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt: 9-month net profit 25.3% up

Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt has recorded a nine-month growth of 25.3 percent in net profit, the bank announced Sunday.

Faisal Bank’s net profit has reached 646.91 million Egyptian pounds (US$82.6 million) by the end of September 2015 in comparison to 516.41 million pounds (US$66 million) for the same period last year.

The bank said in a statement the total revenues hit 3.34 billion pounds in September 2015, up from 2.8 billion pounds in September 2014.

Moreover, the consolidated financial results during the first half of 2015 also revealed that the bank has seized net profit of 389.5 million pounds.
