Finance, Employment Threaten Investments In El-Mahalla El-Kubra

Mohamed El Kalubey, Head of El-Mahalla El-Kubra Investors Association, said the crises of finance, employment and instability are threatening scores of factories with shutdown. These factories operate in textile in Gharbia governorate with investments exceed hundreds of millions Egyptian pound.

The imbalance that the textile system in Egypt is suffering will be resolved, if the government and the investor participate in real working, and to find solutions for these crises, which may displace thousands of workers, El Kalubey told Amwal Al Ghad.

He has referred that there is hope in reforming the sector through the initiative adopted by Engineer Hatem Saleh, Egyptian Ministry of Industry and Foreign Trade, to find virtual solutions for these crises by reactivating the role of the Textile Export Council.
