Fine Hygienic donates products to hospitals in Egypt amid coronavirus

In support of the Egyptian government’s efforts to combat the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), and as a contribution to preserving public health and safety in the country, Fine Hygienic Holding announced donating a huge quantity of its special sterilised tissues to Abbaseya Fever Hospital in Egypt.

Fine Hygienicn is one of the world’s leading Wellness Groups and manufacturer of hygienic paper products.

The donation will take place across several phases to fulfill the needs of the hospital.

As a Wellness Group built on valuing and promoting consumer health and well-being, Fine Hygienic Holding stepped up to help the Egyptian community mitigate the high risk and the fast spread of COVID-19 by offering its very own sterilized tissues; manufactured using the patented SteriPro technology that utilizes ultraviolet light to destroy bacteria, viruses, and other micro-organisms, producing a 99 percent sanitized product for the highest possible level of protection for all health workers.

On this occasion, James Michael Lafferty, the firm’s chief executive, said: “In the wake of the global pandemic, having access to effective hygiene products has never been more crucial, and as the producer of the world’s only sterilized tissues, we are committed to protecting and helping our communities to the best of our ability.  We must all come together during these difficult times in order to contribute in fighting this pandemic.”

Fine Hygienic Holding’s donation in Egypt comes as part of the $ 1 million relief fund the company established to provide much-needed aid to various communities across the MENA region to help them combat COVID-19.

The fund covers a dynamic range of relief for those most in need during the crisis in the form of free crucial hygienic products for senior citizens, as well as monetary donations in support of governments and various charities. The aid is distributed mainly among the communities in which Fine Hygienicn operates including Jordan, Egypt, KSA, UAE, and Morocco.
