France’s Bolloré keen to invest in Egyptian logistics projects

French industrial conglomerate Bolloré is keen to take part in carrying out some transport and logistics projects in Egypt, notably the East Port Said region, Egyptian industry minister announced Wednesday.

Minister Tarek Qabil made these remarks following a lengthy meeting held with Cyrille Bolloré – CEO of Bolloré Group.

Bolloré is ready to bolster its cooperation with the Egyptian government in order to implement transport and logistics projects, notably East Port Said and Dekhela Axis Development, Qabil added.

Founded in 1822, the Bolloré Group is one of the 500 largest companies in the world, and ranked amongst the top 200 European companies in 2004. Listed on the Paris Stock Exchange, Bolloré operates in 110 countries, employing around 54,312 people world-wide.
