French Tech Ticket Paris’s second edition will be held for 12 months starting January 2017; deadline for application submission is August 24. The program is designed for entrepreneurs from all over the world who want to create their startups in France.
The program aims to train and support 70 start-ups. The grant offers an amount of 45,000 euros to the project selected and provides family accommodation in France. It also provides incubation, training and capacity building for 12 months, provided that the candidate should own a newly emerging or growing company. Candidate should form a team of 2-3 persons to implement the project; the team could include a French person.
The program offers other benefits including, among others, the acceleration program, a tailored program of events to support the participant’s growth. It also offers networking events, mentoring sessions and two demo days with investors and corporate executives. This is in addition to a 12-month incubation period in one of the 41 selected partner incubators, dedicated office space and weekly and monthly coaching sessions.
Egypt took part in the first session, in line with the bilateral cooperation between Egypt and France in the ICT field. The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) will, also, nominate this year a number of startups to apply to the contest.
