Gaza wounded arrive in Egypt after border opens – border official

Gaza wounded are arriving in Egypt again after the evacuations resumed on Monday, a border official told press.

Six ambulances carrying wounded Palestinians arrived in Egypt through the Rafah border crossing with the war-torn Gaza Strip.

The patients were undergoing medical examinations at the border to be transferred to hospitals, the official said.

He added that the passage of foreigners trapped in Gaza is also expected to resume on Monday.
