German mission to discuss Egypt’s dairy maker Juhanya plan to boost exports

Egyptian dairy and juice maker Juhayna is to discuss its horizontal expansion strategy with a delegation from German embassy in Cairo to boost its exports.

Deputy CEO Seif El Din Thabet said Tuesday that the German mission is to review Juhayna’s factories to know the business template that the company follows.

Juhanya is adopting a template that relies on applying latest technology on production lines, the official stated.

Thabet clarified that the strategy is depending on four key sectors notably the agricultural and beverage one represented in  Al-Enmaa for Agriculture Development and Livestock Company in addition to industrial sector, represented in seven factories.

The strategy also relies on trade sector since the company owns a network of 33 distribution centres that covers 27 governorates and around 65,000 retail outlets, the official added.

Thabet noted that Juhayna is exerting strong efforts to open new external exporting markets to reflect the achievement that local food industries sector made.

On other side, the German mission emphasised on the importance of caring with industry and its whole cores.

The delegation stated that European markets welcome products of Juhayna that follow up higher international standers and specifications.
