Global coronavirus cases exceed 4 million

Global coronavirus cases have exceeded 4 million on Sunday, according to latest date by John Hopkins University data.

The global death toll reached nearly 280,000, Hopkins University added.

The U.S. remains the world’s country worst hit by the coronavirus, accounting for more than a quarter of the cases, having reported 1.3 million.

Spain and Italy ranked the second and third of the highest cases respectively, both reporting more than 218,000 cases.
