Gold prices in Egypt fall on Thursday, 08 Jan., 2026

Gold prices in Egypt declined on Thursday, following losses in international bullion markets, official data showed.

By 15:43 p.m. local time (13:43 p.m. GMT), the price of 24-carat gold had fallen 63 Egyptian pounds, or 0.92 per cent, to 6,788.5 Egyptian pounds per gram, up from 6,851.5 pounds at the close on Tuesday, January 6.
