Gras Savoye Sudan Assigns 3 Firms To Insure Moroccan Managem Mining

Gras Savoye – Insurance Brokerage’s branch in Sudan has assigned three insurance companies to insure Moroccan Managem Mining Company, said Hamed Mabrouk, managing director of Gras Savoye Egypt.

The insurance policy covers the company’s mines and equipments against all risks with value of US$ 180 million, he added. The Moroccan Managem Mining Company is expected to produce 10 tonnes of gold a year from a mine in Sudan.

Grasa Savoye has became the exclusive insurance broker for mining companies in Sudan as it earlier assigned insurance companies to insure the Ariab Mining Company.

Mabrouk added that the company is in talks to inaugurate a new branch in Libya, he added. Grasa Savoye Sudan collected premiums of EGP 30 million for insurance companies in 2012.
