Hamas Police Arrests Egyptian Community Chief

Hamas police arrested on Saturday the head of the Egyptian community in Palestine after announcing his  support of Egypt’s army.

Ziad al-Masri, Director of the Egyptian Cultural Center in West Bank, told the state-news agency MENA  15 security forces from Hamas police have stormed the Center’s office in Gaza arresting Mr. Adel Abdul Rahman – Head of the Egyptian community in Palestine;  and confiscating computers at the center.

Two weeks ago, Mr. Abdul Rahman  confirmed his support for the Egyptian army, and condemned the targeting of the country’s vital institutions.
