Hassan Allam to complete Egypt’s Port Said pier by mid-2016

Egypt-based Nasr General Contracting Co. – Hassan Allam plans to complete works to develop one of the piers in south Port Said by mid 2016, with total cost of 500 million Egyptian pounds (US$63.8 million).

Abdullah Khairy, Chairman of Hassan Allam, told Amwal Al Ghad Wednesday that the works on the east Port Said pier is part of Suez Canal Axis region development project, referring that the company is working on expanding and developing the port.

The company is seeking to expand its business activity in Suez Canal Axis region, the chairman added.

Khairy further said his company had completed a number of road projects lately, such as Rehab Bridge in Suez desert road, the new road for Shourok city, and a tunnel in Ismailya, with total cost of 228 million pounds.
