HCCD’s affiliates negotiating for PPP investment project in Cairo this year

Two Egyptian housing companies, affiliated to the Holding Co. for Construction and Development (HCCD), are in talks to establish a public-private partnership (PPP) investment project within the current year.

The project will be carried out in partnership with one of the major construction companies in a new city located in Cairo, an official sources told Amwal Al Ghad on Monday.

The PPP project comes as part of HCCD’s plan to cooperate with other companies within the upcoming period, a move to increase the joint business and profits, the sources added.

During the last year, three public-sector contractors launched a number of real estate and service projects in New Cairo and Alexandria on spaces of more than 22,000 square metres.
