Egyptian Housing Ministry offers 13.000 Units for Low incomes Tomorrow

Egypt’s Housing Ministry will provide Thursday 13.000 housing units in the 6th of October city as part of the country’s one Million Homes project, minister Moustafa Madbouli announced on Wednesday.

The minister stated that the housing units are implemented through the Emirati grant in 17 governorates and cities such as 6th of October, Badr, New Minya, New Borg Al Arab, Port Said, South Sinai, Sohag, New Damietta, and Dakahlia.

He stressed that the units are fully finished and have been implemented according to the ministry’s models.

Moreover, the minister clarified that the residents and employees in Giza, the 6th of October and Sheikh Zayed cities can apply for those housing units.

Salah Hassan, social housing programme’s Executive Body Head, noted that the housing units are implemented with spaces of 90 metres.

In addition, registration conditions for these units are as follows; the applicant’s age should neither be less than 21 nor more than 50 years old, to be from low-income category, and the family monthly income should not exceed EGP 3.000 (US$393).
