Hungary to finance Egyptian housing, desalination projects

Hungary is ready to finance two projects related to housing and desalination fields in Egypt, said Egyptian minister of international cooperation Sahar Nasr.

The Egyptian minister further stated, following her meeting with Hungary’s ambassador to Cairo Peter Kveck, that Budapest’s planned finance would be secured by the Hungarian Export-Import Bank Plc. (Eximbank).

The two parties also discussed plans to bolster volume of mutual investments between Cairo and Budapest, alongside the number of Hungarian tourists coming to Egypt.

From his part, ambassador Kveck called for boosting Budapest and Cairo intra-trade and cooperation between the industries federations and trade chambers of both countries.
