In Week, OTMT Highest Volume of Trades on Egypt Bourse

In a week, Egypt’s Orascom Telecom Media and Technology Holding has registered the highest volumes traded among other nine active firms listed in the country’s stock exchange.

Ranked first, Orascom (OTMT.CA on EGX) attained a total volume of trades amounting to 458 million securities, with turnovers worth EGP 622 million throughout last week trading sessions.

Coming second on the list, Amer Group Holding (AMER.CA on EGX) registered a volume of trades amounted to 148 million securities worth EPG 200 million.

Qalaa Holdings (formerly Citadel Capital) (CCAP.CA on EGX) came third reporting a volume of trades of 65 million securities worth EGP 235 million.

Fourth, Egyptian Resorts – ERC (EGTS.CA on EGX) had a volume of trades hit 58 million securities worth EGP 74 million.

Fifth, Upper Egypt Contracting (UEGC.CA on EGX) had a volume of trades reached 34 million securities worth EGP 84 million.

Sixth, Arab Investment and Development (formerly AIC Contracting) (AIND.CA on EGX) recorded a volume of trades reached 29 million securities worth EGP 55 million.

Palm Hills Development (PHDC.CA) came seventh having a volume of trades reached 23 million securities worth EGP 102 million.

Global Telecom Holding (GTH) (GTHE.CA on EGX) (Previously Orascom Telecom Holding) has been ranked eighth as its volume of trades amounted to 17 million securities worth EGP 73 million.

Electro Cable Egypt (ELEC.CA on EGX) has been ninth reporting a volume of trades reached 15.5 million securities worth EGP 20 million.

At the bottom of the list, Talaat Moustafa Group (TMGH.CA on EGX) has come tenth recording a volume of trades reached 14.7 million securities worth EGP 151 million.
