Industry ministry issues inclusive complex for SMEs in Egypt’s Sadat City

Egyptian industry ministry is currently taking steps to issue an inclusive industrial complex in Sadat City for Small- and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) , Minister Tarek Qabil said Sunday.

The new complex would be issued through the turnkey system, the minister stated, adding that it includes 150 industrial units with spaces ranging between 900-2,000 square metres.

Qabil noted that this project comes among the 500 factories that have been submitted to President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi which are ready for immediate operation.

He clarified that those projects target providing ready industrial facilities for small- and medium-sized industries to upgrade industry sector and enhance state’s development and production. He pointed out that SMEs provides a lot of job opportunities for youth.

On other side, Minister Qabil said that the ministry issued around 6 million square metres during the last few months in Minya and Port Said governorates as well as Quweisna and Badr cities among its plan to issue 10 million square metres by the end of 2016.
