Intel Capital Considers Acquiring 3 Egyptian Companies

Karim El Fateh, General Manager of Intel Egypt, stated that Intel Capital is considering acquiring three Egyptian companies working in the field of specialized technology, with the aim of developing the technology used in the devices operating with Intel fourth-generation processors. He noted that the three companies are currently cooperating with Intel to set a plan for the investment of this year.

El Fateh pointed out that Intel Egypt is now developing a new program to finance Entrepreneurial Projects in cooperation with Intel Capital and a number of investment funds in order to open new channels of communication with the investor and owners of new ideas.

He added that the company also offers training programs to students on how to invest, the fields that attract them, and their methodology in presenting their topics according to the market needs, so as to help entrepreneurs to obtain the funding required for their projects.

He pointed out that the company is currently working completing its strategic goals which depend on developing the educational sectors, innovation, entrepreneurship, e-government services, in addition to offering help with building the infrastructure of this sector in accordance with the strategy of  Intel World which aims at accessing a billion users to the internet, so as to increase the number of internet users all over the world up to 3 billion investors. Most of the institutions working in conducting researches believe that the developing markets will attract new users, especially the middle-class of the society, he said.
