Police, CIT cooperate in Spreading Surveillance Cameras in Egypt Squares

Egypt’s Communication and Information Technology Ministry is to participate, as consultative, in the formed committee to supervise structuring and activating the surveillance cameras to cover the state, minister Khaled Negm said .

He noted that CIT will carry on connecting cameras together and analyzing data to use it in securing streets.

The minister added, during his speech in the first Investor Briefing Event on Egypt IT, that the priority goes to setting cameras in the Interior Ministry’s affiliated authorities either in police stations or affiliated services’ offices.

Moreover, Negm noted that his ministry aims at publicizing surveillance cameras services to become one of the basic licences for any commercial or services’ project during the upcoming period.
