ITI Extends the Deadline for Applying for the Professional Training Program

The administration of the Information Technology Institute (ITI), which is affiliated to the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, has decided to extend the period of applying for the 33rd round of the Professional Training Program, until the 16th of September 2012,  given that the deadline was scheduled to be on the 11th of this September. The Professional Training Program is a free-of-charge program offered by the ITI.

According to a statement issued today by the institute, the deadline extension has significantly encouraged Egyptian university graduates from different faculties to apply for batch number 33. The number of the program applicants has reached more than 8000 graduates from faculties of engineering, computer science, science, commerce, and other disciplines.

He also noted that the program will accept 700 applicants, with an increase of about 200 students over the previous batch which included 520 students. He added that the applicants will go through assessment tests to determine whether they meet the requirements of the program or not.

The Professional Training Program lasts for 9 months. It aims at qualifying and preparing Egyptian university graduates to meet the  needs of the job market, especially Egyptian and foreign companies working in the field of information technology.
