ITIDA to Finance IT Chamber’s Meeting with Its UAE’s Counterpart.

The Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) will provide EGP 150.000 to finance the meeting to be organized by the Egyptian Chamber of Information Technology with its UEA’s counterpart during the period from the 22nd to the 23rd of October.

Khalid Amin, Treasurer at the Chamber’s board of directors, stated that ITIDA will provide EGP5.000 for each of the 30 companies that will participate in the Abu Dhabi Chamber’s meeting, with a total cost reaches up to EGP 150.000.
 

He added that the Chamber will hold another meeting with its counterpart in Jeddah next November, but ITIDA has not specified that the volume of support to be offered, expecting that the support may amount to EGP 11.000 per company. He further pointed out that nearly 35 companies will take part in that meeting.
 

Above all, the chamber will meet with its counterpart in Riyadh next December, in addition to signing protocols of cooperation with the Chambers of Information technology in Nairobi, Ethiopia, Kenya, and one of the state-owned company in Iraq in the framework of the Chamber’s plan to promote cooperation with African countries in the coming period. He added that the Chamber is currently conducting talks with the Chamber of Sudan, aiming to conclude a protocol with each of these chambers per month.
