Jordan recalls ambassador from Israel

Jordan said on Wednesday it would “immediately” recall its ambassador to Israel over the war against Gaza.

“Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi decided to immediately recall Jordan’s ambassador to Israel,” the foreign ministry said.

The ministry added that the move was “to condemn the Israeli war that is killing innocent people in Gaza”.

Jordan also said that it will not send back the Israeli ambassador to Amman, who left at the beginning of the offensive due to security precautions.

The ministry said the decision is to remain in effect until the war crimes in Gaza end.

The decision comes after a horrific Israeli airstrike hit the Jabalia refugee camp on Tuesday.

As a result, Bolivia decided to cut all diplomatic ties with Israel.
