Jordon’s Employers to pay Egyptian Workforce’s Fees

Khaled Al-Azhary,Minister of Manpower and Immigration, stated that he has conducted important talks with the Jordon’s Minister of Labor Atef Odibat, in order to ask about the Egyptian delegation. Al-Azhary has agreed with the Minister of Labor that the work permissions for Egyptian workers will be obtained from The Municipality of Greater Amman, municipalities, and Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority.

Al-Azhary also discussed the mechanisms of life insurance offered to Egyptians working in Jordon by the German company for insurance, which has signed contracts with the Egyptian embassy.

In the same context, Al-Azhary addressed  the problem that emerged due to fact that some offices have ceased granting some Egyptian employees working in sectors other than the sector mentioned in the employment contract the seal required for receiving their dues form the social security administration and the department of retirement.

On his part, Jordon’s Minister of Labor affirmed that a committee will be formed immediately, including the social security authority, the department of retirement, the Ministry of Labor, and the Egyptian labor consultant in Oman for discussing this issue, reaching alternative solutions, and making a decision that conforms to the law and preserves the rights of Egyptians concerned with this matter.
