Lecico Egypt Says Q1 Net Profits Hit EGP35.2 mln

Egyptian ceramics maker Lecico Egypt reported on Monday a net profit worth 35.246 million Egyptian pounds (US$5.003 million) during the first quarter of 2014. In comparison, Lecico (LCSW.CA) had posted a Q1/13 net profit of 15.432 million Egyptian pounds (US$2.190 million).

Moreover, the Alexandria-based company has recorded a standalone net profit amounting to 160.405 million Egyptian pounds (US$22.7 million ) in Q1/14 versus 110.188 million Egyptian pounds (US$ 15.6 million) a year earlier.
