Loans Portfolio of Tanmeyah Microfinance Egypt up EGP325mln at May

The value of loans portfolio of Tanmeyah Micro Enterprise Services reached EGP325 million at the end of May, Amr Abouesh, Executive Chairman said.

Speaking to Amwal Al Ghad, Abouesh added that the firm eyes boosting its total funds to record EGP400 million by the end of the ongoing year.

Micro finance law will permit for the entry of new firms into the market and create Compete among firms.

Amwal Al Ghad has published the negotiations between micro finance firms and Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority (EFSA) for personal savings so as to contribute in filling the Financing gap in which micro projects market has suffered from it as it reaches 90%.
