Louis Vuitton revives Renaissance in its Cruise 2024 collection

Nicolas Ghesquiere’s collection for Louis Vuitton 2024 Cruise was revealed on Wednesday in an eye-catching show at the Borromeo Palace.

The featured collection was described by Ghesquiere as “archaeology of the future.″ Sabrina Impacciatore, who was among the show attendees, said she loved the spirit of the collection.  “It is about a powerful girl, a really powerful girl, who does not renounce her femininity,” the Italian actress said.

The collection featured jacket sleeves with tapestry detailing, sequined short skirts and maxi dresses, reincarnating late Renaissance vibes. Most of the guests attended the show from the palace, while the catwalk was run during an afternoon rain break.

Other renowned guests attending the show on Isola Bella on Lake Maggiore included Cate Blanchett, Emma Stone, and Oprah Winfrey.
