Mansour Hassan, Political Authorities back me

The Advisory council’s president Mansour Hassan, who previously announced his run for president, said that there are political authorities support him.

In a statement to “Asharq Alawsat”, Hassan said “I decided to run for president and there are political authorities support me, in and out of the parliament, but I’m not to say in the present time”.

Hassan, who was minister during the late president Anwar Al Sadat’s rule, refused to say if he intended to collect 30 thousands signatures or he will rely on the 30 MPs support.  According to the current constitutional declaration, each of the former two ways is acceptable to submit the nomination’s documents.
