McDonagh Announces HSBC Egypt’s Strategy In A Roundtable

Francesca McDonagh, HSBC’s Regional Head of Retail Banking and Wealth Management for the Middle East and North Africa, is holding Wednesday a media roundtable at the bank’s headquarters in Cairo through its periodical visit to Egypt which lasts for two days for revealing the bank’s strategy in Egypt in the upcoming period.

Such meeting came as the HSBC highly regards the Egyptian market as it has high growth rates which will enable it to be one of the 20th powerful economies in 2020, according to the bank’s studies.

HSBC emphasized on the importance of the Egyptian market in marketing its banking and wealth management services. Therefore, HSBC will continuously offer unique banking services and solutions that will cater to the needs of the Egyptian market.

HSBC had earlier admitted that in the past it failed to meet the compliance standards that regulators and customers expected, leading to money-laundering incidents, but it promised to strengthen its money-laundering controls, she affirmed.
