Microsoft launches Egypt’s Food Industries, consumer complexes e-linking project

Multinational technology firm Microsoft announced Tuesday the launch of its project that connects Egyptian Food Industries Holding Company (FHIC), supply stores, wholesale companies, consumer complex companies in a unified electronic network.

Karim Hanafy -Business Solutions Regional Sales Lead, Middle East & Africa HQ at Microsoft- asserted that the e-linking project includes upgrading the six companies of  FHIC, hence developing around 1,200 consumer complexes.

He made these remarks during the conference  held Tuesday to announce the launch of company’s e-linking  project.

The network will connect 500 wholesale ports with 40,000 retail outlets that serve all the suppliers.
