Minister Of Housing To Inaugurate Cityscape Egypt This March

H.E. Dr. Tarek Wafik, Minister of Housing and Urban Communities, will open Cityscape Egypt in association with Next Move this March at the Cairo International Convention Center. The exhibition, taking place from 28-31 March, will offer an array of property options under the auspices of the Ministry of Housing and Cairo Governorate.

Aiming at satisfying the growing demand for real estate products and the increasing number of industry market players, Cityscape Egypt is the only international event of this kind, focusing on all aspects of the local real estate development cycle. The exhibition will bring together decision-makers, investors, developers, architects, and urban experts for four days of networking.

Dr. Wafik stressed that the Government endorses exhibitions and conferences that play a key role in reviving the sector’s development by facilitating communication among investors, officials, developers and customers.

He also highlighted the Government’s role in promoting investments through the recently proposed amendments to the real estate regulations governing Egypt’s New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA). The amendments include granting the amenities necessary for coping with the current extraordinary economic conditions and eliminating any obstacles facing the industry.

The Minister of Housing and Urban Communities will deliver a keynote speech at the Egypt Real Estate Summit. With its world-class agenda, the Summit will take place from 26-28 March, 2013 at the InterContinental Cairo CityStars Hotel, leading into the highly anticipated exhibition.

H.E. Dr. Osama Kamal, Governor of Cairo, will deliver the opening speech after the Minister’s keynote address. The Governor’s speech will focus on the governorate’s plans and future projects.

The Egypt Real Estate Summit will guide participants towards the best investment opportunities, pinpointing the solutions needed to overcome current industry challenges and helping to boost the investment climate. More than 200 senior real estate investors, developers and keynote speakers will be participating in the event.
