Misr Insurance Considers Amending Insurance Brokerage Contracts

Misr Insurance Company plans to amend its contracts with insurance brokers in the upcoming period, said Adel Shaker, chairman of Egyptian Insurance Brokers Association (EIBA). The company is expected to improve the conditions of the contracts, granting brokers many advantages, he added.

Misr Insurance Company held a meeting with insurance brokers that it deals with in order to solve their problems. The company honored the top three insurance brokers in terms of the volume of transactions with the company. Misr Insurance also granted EIBA the honorary shield and renewed its annual sponsorship of it.

The tripartite committee, composed of EIBA, Insurance Federation of Egypt and Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority, will hold a meeting next Wednesday to resume discussions over the unified contract of brokers.
