MOT: Arab Tourism Markets’ Action Plan Is Ready

Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour, minister of tourism, held a meeting attended by Amr Al Ezaby – Egyptian Tourism Authority chairman; Hesham Zaazou- minister of tourism’ senior assistant- and leaders of Egyptian Tourism federation (ETF) as well the chambers of tourism companies and Egypt Air in addition to a number of managers of international hotels and tourism companies specialized in Arab markets.

The meeting discussed reactivating the Arab tourism in Egypt through the action plan in Arab markets in summer 2012 and the tourist convoys that will be sent to these markets in addition to Ramadan; the month which attracts the Arab tourist. The meeting also showed marketing plan for the Arab Gathering; which to be held at the end of forthcoming April.

During the meeting, they also discussed re-operating Cairo-Tokyo Line in order to regain the incoming tourism to Egypt from Japanese markets; as they showed some events to be implemented in coordination with the tourism bureau in Tokyo, during the minister of tourism coming visit in April.
