Mokhtar Ibrahim to complete $25mn residential project in Sinai by 2017

Egypt’s contracting firm, Mokhtar Ibrahim plans to complete its residential project in Sinai Peninsula, which encompasses 42 housing units by 2017. The project is with total cost worth 200 million Egyptian pounds (US $25 million).

Fayek al-Banna, Chairman and CEO of Mokhtar Ibrahim, told Amwal Al Ghad Sunday that the firm is racing against the time to complete the project to deliver the units to the residents in Sinai before the deadline.

The Armed Forces Engineering Authority has assigned Moukhtar Ibrahim to implement the residential units as well as some other developmental projects in Sinai, he added. Those projects are part of the Armed Forces’ plan to reconstruct Sinai and improve the live conditions of residents there though building up modern housing units.

Elsewhere, Moukhtar Ibrahim is carrying out three road projects as part of the country’s national road network scheme.
