Moukhtar Ibrahim to execute two major road projects in 6th October, Sadat cities

Egypt’s construction firm, Moukhtar Ibrahim has signed new contracts to implement two road projects in the Six of October and Sadat cities an official in the company said Tuesday.

Mohamed Alkhatib, deputy chairman for financial and administrative affairs, further told Amwal Al Ghad that the total cost of the two projects were estimated at 320 million Egyptian pounds ($17.5 million).

“We are planning to deliver the projects within two years maximum,” Alkhatib noted.

Mokhtar Ibrahim is currently completing the implementation of additional mega road projects as a part of the country’s national roads project, he added.

The Egyptian official clarified that these mega projects include the New Borg El Arab and Mansoura roads as well as a bridge in Zagazig City, in addition to a number of roads in Beit Al Watan in New Cairo.

Earlier, Mokhtar Ibrahim delivered a major bundle of road projects last year in the first phase of the national road network, Alkhatib said, referring that the cost reached one billion and half.

“We are currently carrying out other infrastructure projects in Upper Egypt governorates,” Alkhatib concluded.
