Museum Insurance Policy To Be Discussed Next Week

The Fire Insurance and Reinsurance Committees at the Insurance Federation of Egypt (IFE) will hold a meeting next week to study the issuance of a museum insurance policy, said Walid Sayed, member of the Committee.

The committee discussed in its last meeting the final features of the technical conditions of the stock insurance policy to be discussed afterwards by the joint commission. The commission will work on making these conditions compatible with the reinsurance agreements to avert any potential conflicts, he added.

The Semi-monthly report was reviewed in the same meeting to be afterwards submitted to the chairman of IFE Abdel Raouf Kotb.

The committee still awaits the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority’s (EFSA) approval over the museum stock insurance policy to be offered in the upcoming period, he noted.
