Museum Insurance Policy To Be Studied Next Month

A bilateral committee comprised of the Reinsurance Committee and the Fire Insurance Committee at the Insurance Federation of Egypt (IFE) will meet to study the museum insurance policy next month, said Walid Sayed, member of Fire Insurance Committee and deputy general manager of Arab Misr Insurance Group (AMIG).

The Fire Insurance Committee set the final features of the museum insurance policy which will be submitted to the Reinsurance Committee in the joint meeting to be compared with the reinsurance agreements in order to avert possible problems in the future.

In other respect, Ahmed Aboul Enein, head of Motor Insurance Committee at IFE and head of motor insurance sector at Misr Insurance Company, said the insurance companies’ suggestions and observations on the supplemental car insurance policy will be studied by the beginning of next month.

The Motor Insurance Committee set the final features of the insurance policy last month and it was sent to insurance companies to say their observations.

After considering these notes and observations, the Committee will submit the final form of the insurance policy to the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority to be approved, he noted.
