Egyptian Travel Agents Association (ETAA) agreed to finance the project of setting an electronic system in order to inform the tourism police with the tourists’ itineraries, with EGP 1.5 million and to be finished within 4 months.

A reliable source in ETAA said the association will inform the minister of interior with the approval of financing the project according to the technical specifications of the ministry of interior.

The source mentioned that the travel agencies called for the electronic system in order to help the travel agencies and the ministry of interior, save time, money and employment that used in informing the tourism police.

The travel agencies will inform the ministry of interior with all the programs and the tourists’ itineraries, places to be visited and the means of transportation.

The minister of interior has demanded technical specifications for the electronic system in order not to be breached.
