“No Militaries in Civil Positions” a campaign to bring down the military

A group of activists and revolutionists have started a campaign to monitor all militaries present in civil positions whether it is a minister, a governor, an agent of the ministry or any other civil position.

When the revolution raised the slogan of “Down with the Military Rule”, people thought this meant ending the military actual ruling of the country while in fact the “military rule” meant ending the dominance of the military to all civil institutions of the state.

The campaign’s mission is to end the military rule to Egypt and achieve the goal of creating a civil state by purging the civil institutions of the official military, by following peaceful means such as pressuring to pass a legislation that prevents militaries from occupying civil positions and raising awareness campaigns to highlight the importance of preventing militaries from occupying civil positions.
