Egypt’s Higher Education Vows to End Disputes over Nile University

Dr. Tarek Khalil, the President of Nile University (NU), has asserted that Dr. Hossam Issa, the newly-appointed Minister of Higher Education in the transitional government, pledged to implement the Judiciary provisions and to back the lands and NU’s buildings for students after the disputes over Zawail city for science. The disputes erupted over who would own the buildings in Sheikh Zayed in which recently resulted in a ruling court to return all lands to the NU and to abolish  the allocation of Zewail city for Science and technology.

Khalil added to Amwal Al Ghad that NU will start to receive all the applications for the new academic year of High school graduates over the next few days , Pointing out  that the new academic year will be in Sheikh Zayed city instead of Smart Village.

The Supreme Administrative Court of Egypt issued a rule for the right of NU in all lands and buildings , representing in Egypt’s President and government .

Moreover, NU has issued a statement on Thursday , declaring that the last deadline for the receipt of applications of the progress of the University will be held on July 28.
