NUCA Offers 5 Bids In 3 New Cities

The New Urban Cities Authority (NUCA) announced Monday the offering of new bids for a number of services projects.

The offering comes in the context of NUCA’s keenness to boost development and to provide all services in the new cities, according to the statement.

Meanwhile, head of the Sadat City Authority, Mohamed Ashour, said that two bids will be offered including two nurseries in the city.

One of the two nurseries will be established in the 24th and the 28th residential zones of the city, Ashour added.

He further noted that the offering will take place through a public tender amid the companies registered in the Egyptian Federation for Construction and Building Contractors (EFCBC).

Meanwhile, head of the 15th of May City Authority, Ali Rashad, said that the city will witness the offering of two bids.

The bids include works to prepare the 7th and 8th districts alongside the city, Rashad noted. He also added that the tenders include restructuring work on the electric cables in the Friday market on the ring road in 15th of May City.

The offering will also take place through a public tender between companies registered in the EFCBC, according to Rashad.

Moreover, head of the New Beni Suef Development Authority, Nour Ismail, said that a comprehensive one-year insurance programme for all the authority’s vehicles and equipment will be issued through a public tender between specialised companies.

In May 2015, NUCA had issued seven bids in four cities as part of its framework to develop lands in the 1m housing units social housing programme.

The bids included the establishment of a youth centre in Beni Suef and a nursery in New Aswan. It also included building a traffic unit in New Cairo and utilities for 2,151 pieces of land in the new Borg Al-Arab area near Alexandria.
